Cancellation Policy – Get Your Rentals Effective Date: June 24, 2025

At Get Your Rentals, we understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. Our Cancellation Policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and flexible while protecting the integrity of our business and ensuring availability for all customers. By booking with us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

You may cancel your reservation at any time prior to your scheduled pickup, subject to the terms and deadlines described below. Cancellations can be made online through our website or by contacting our customer service team. We recommend canceling as early as possible to avoid potential fees and to allow others access to the vehicle.

Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time are eligible for a full refund, including any deposits paid. Cancellations made between 24–48 hours prior to pickup will receive a partial refund, with a cancellation fee deducted to cover administrative and allocation costs. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the start of your rental period, or fail to show up, the booking is considered a “late cancellation” or “no-show,” and no refund will be issued unless otherwise stated in a specific promotion or waiver.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed using the original payment method within 7–10 business days. Any third-party processing fees, currency conversion charges, or financial institution hold times are beyond our control. We are not responsible for refund delays due to technical issues, holidays, or bank processing times.

In cases of unexpected emergencies, natural disasters, or other uncontrollable events (force majeure), we may offer cancellation leniency or credits toward future bookings at our sole discretion. Documentation may be required to verify the nature of the event, and we reserve the right to make decisions on a case-by-case basis.

Modifying an existing booking (such as changing the pickup date, location, or vehicle type) may affect your eligibility for free cancellation. Modified bookings are subject to the cancellation terms applicable at the time of the change, not the original booking. Please review any changes carefully before confirming a modification.

If your vehicle is reserved using a promotional offer, discounted rate, or prepaid package, cancellation terms may vary. Some promotional rates are non-refundable or subject to different cancellation windows, which will be clearly stated at the time of booking. Please read the terms carefully before confirming your reservation.

Failure to arrive within 2 hours of your scheduled pickup time without notifying us may result in forfeiture of the reservation, and the vehicle may be released to other customers. In such cases, no refund will be issued unless otherwise stated. If you anticipate a delay, please contact us immediately to hold your vehicle or revise your pickup time.

We reserve the right to cancel bookings if we are unable to fulfill your reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as vehicle unavailability, safety concerns, or eligibility discrepancies. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or, where possible, an alternative vehicle arrangement at no additional charge.

Customers who repeatedly cancel at the last minute or fail to show up may be restricted from making future reservations or may be required to prepay in full for upcoming rentals.

If you booked through a third-party platform (such as an online travel agency or affiliate partner), their cancellation policy may apply. We recommend checking the platform’s terms in addition to ours to ensure clarity and avoid confusion.
